Cable - Recliner - 2nd Row - RH (5 Seat) - Remove And Replace: Remove

Remove the RH 2nd row seat seat back sub-assembly. See SEAT BACK SUB-ASSEMBLY - 2ND ROW SEAT - RH (5 SEAT) (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .

Remove the clips (x4) and screw that attach the upper and lower inner recliner covers to the seat assembly, and then remove the covers from the seat assembly.

1.5 N.m (1.1 ft-lbs)

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

T20 socket

Release the clip, tab and eyelet that attach the RH 2nd row recliner cable to the recliner assembly and cushion tube.
NOTE: Rotate the keyed cable counterclockwise to remove from the recliner release arm eyelet.

Release the clips (x2) that attach the RH 2nd row recliner cable to the rear of the seat cushion frame.

Release the clips (x2) that attach the RH 2nd row recliner cable to the front of the seat cushion frame.

Remove the screws (x2) that attach the RH 2nd row seat recliner cable compensator housing to the cushion support, and then release the housing from the cushion support.
1.5 N.m (1.1 ft-lbs)

NOTE: Slide the compensator housing down and out of the cushion support.

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- T20 socket

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the RH 2nd row seat recliner cable spindle assembly to the seat cushion frame, and then remove the recliner cable from the seat assembly.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
