Actuator - Pitch Latch - 2nd Row Seat - LH (6 Seat) - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the front windows.
  2. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
  3. Move the driver seat forward.
  4. Open the LH falcon wing door.
  5. Move the LH 2nd row seat forward.
  6. Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) .
  7. Release the clips (x11) that attach the LH 2nd row seat - seat back cover to the seat assembly, disconnect the electrical connector, and then remove the seat back cover from the seat assembly.
    CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the switch harness. Do not remove the trim from the seat assembly until the connector has been disconnected.
    NOTE: Start from the top portion of trim and work downward.

  8. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat OBSB heat pad electrical connector, and then release the clip that attaches the connector to the seat assembly.

  9. Release the Velcro strips (x3) that attach the lower front side of the seat back trim to the seat assembly.
    NOTE: Hold the cover up for access.

  10. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat pitch latch actuator electrical connector.
    NOTE: Release the tabs (x2) from both sides of the connector to disconnect.

  11. Release the LH 2nd row seat pitch latch actuator cable from the cable bracket and actuator.

  12. Remove the screws (x3) that attach the LH 2nd row seat pitch latch actuator to the seat assembly, and then remove the actuator from the assembly.

    2.5 N.m (1.8 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Torx T25 socket
