Trim - Sill Panel - Rear - LH - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. If installing a LH rear sill panel trim 1626479-00-C or newer on Model X built before January 23, 2023, or a RH rear sill panel trim 1626480-00-C or newer on Model X built before January 31, 2023, the tab must be removed from the trim as follows:
    1. Cut off and discard the tab on the new LH rear sill panel trim to allow proper fitment.
      NOTE:

        Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

      • Razor blade scraper - 1064740-00-A
      • Side cutters

      G00655535
  2. Install the LH rear sill panel trim to the body, and then fasten the clips (x8) that attach the trim to the body.

  3. Move the 2nd row LH seat rearward, and then close the LH rear door.
