Bracket - Racetrack - Spine - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH and RH front doors.
  2. Lower the LH and RH front windows.
  3. Open the LH and RH falcon wing doors.
  4. Move the LH front seat rearward.
  5. Remove the LH sun visor bezel A-pillar trim. See TRIM - A-PILLAR - SUN VISOR BEZEL - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  6. Remove the bolts (x2), screw, and nut that attach the LH upper A-pillar trim to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Discard the nut after removal.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 2 in extension
    • 10 mm hex
    • 13 mm hex
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Torx T20 socket

  7. Move the LH upper A-pillar trim to access the headliner.

  8. Remove the screw that attaches the LH front end of the headliner to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 2 in extension
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Torx T20 socket

  9. Move the LH front seat forward.
  10. Release the LH front door seal from the B-pillar trim.

  11. Remove the LH front sill panel trim. See TRIM - SILL PANEL - FRONT - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  12. Remove the LH rear sill panel trim. See TRIM - SILL PANEL - REAR - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  13. Remove the LH lower B-pillar trim. See TRIM - B-PILLAR - LOWER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  14. Remove the LH upper B-pillar trim. See TRIM - B-PILLAR - UPPER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  15. Open the liftgate.
  16. Fold the LH 3rd row seat downwards.
  17. Release the clips (x4) that attach the LH trunk sill side trim to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Plastic trim tool

  18. Remove the LH mid C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - MID - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  19. Remove the LH upper C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - UPPER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  20. Open the LH and RH side rear coat hooks.
    NOTE: Press the coat hooks inward, and then release to open.

  21. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the LH and RH rear coat hooks to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 2 in extension
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
    • Torx T20 socket

  22. Partially release the clips (x11) that attach the LH headliner to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Clip pry tool
    • Plastic trim tool

  23. Remove the LH front racetrack trim. See RACETRACK TRIM - FRONT - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  24. Remove the LH rear racetrack trim. See RACETRACK TRIM - REAR - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  25. Remove the LH falcon wing door primary strut covers (x2).

  26. Remove the LH upper racetrack trim. See RACETRACK TRIM - UPPER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  27. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the LH spine racetrack bracket to the vehicle, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.
