Bracket - Racetrack - Spine - LH - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Position the LH spine racetrack bracket on the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x3) that attach the bracket to the vehicle.

    3 N.m (2.2 ft-lbs) 

    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 1/4 in to 3/8 in adapter
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Plastic trim tool
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
    • Torx T40 socket

  2. Install the LH upper racetrack trim. See RACETRACK TRIM - UPPER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  3. Ensure that the LH falcon wing door seal is seated behind the LH upper racetrack trim.

  4. Install the LH falcon wing door primary strut covers (x2).

  5. Install the LH rear racetrack trim. See RACETRACK TRIM - REAR - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  6. Ensure that the falcon wing door seal is seated behind the LH rear racetrack trim.

  7. Install the LH front racetrack trim. See RACETRACK TRIM - FRONT - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  8. Ensure that the falcon wing door seal is seated behind the LH front racetrack trim

  9. Install the clips (x11) that attach the LH headliner to the vehicle.

  10. Install the screws (x2) that attach the LH and RH rear coat hooks to the vehicle.

    2.5 N.m (1.8 ft-lbs) 

    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
    • Torx T20 socket

  11. Close the LH and RH side rear coat hooks.

  12. Install the LH upper C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - UPPER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  13. Install the LH mid C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - MID - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  14. Install the clips (x4) that attach the LH trunk sill side trim to the vehicle.

  15. Move the LH 3rd row seat to original position.
  16. Close the liftgate.
  17. Install the screw that attaches the LH front end of the headliner to the vehicle.

    2 N.m (1.5 ft-lbs) 

    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 2 in extension
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
    • Torx T20 socket

  18. Install the LH upper B-pillar trim. See TRIM - B-PILLAR - UPPER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  19. Install the LH lower B-pillar trim. See TRIM - B-PILLAR - LOWER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  20. Install the LH rear sill panel trim. See TRIM - SILL PANEL - REAR - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  21. Install the LH front sill panel trim. See TRIM - SILL PANEL - FRONT - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  22. Fully seat the LH front door seal on the B-pillar trim.

  23. Move the LH front seat rearward.
  24. Position the LH upper A-pillar trim for installation.

  25. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the LH upper A-pillar trim to the vehicle.

    5 N.m (3.7 ft-lbs) 

    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 2 in extension
    • 10 mm hex
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

  26. Install the screw that attaches the LH upper A-pillar trim to the vehicle.

    2.5 N.m (1.8 ft-lbs) 

    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Torx T20 socket

  27. Install the nut that attaches the LH upper A-pillar trim to the vehicle.

    5 N.m (3.7 ft-lbs) 

    NOTE: Install a new nut.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 2 in extension
    • 13 mm hex
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

  28. Install the LH sun visor bezel A-pillar trim. See TRIM - A-PILLAR - SUN VISOR BEZEL - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  29. Move the LH front seat to original position.
  30. Close the LH and RH falcon wing doors.
  31. Raise the LH and RH front windows.
  32. Close the LH and RH front doors.
