Bracket - Racetrack - Sill - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH and RH front doors.
  2. Lower the LH and RH front windows.
  3. Open the LH and RH falcon wing doors.
  4. Remove the LH rear sill panel trim. See TRIM - SILL PANEL - REAR - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  5. Open the liftgate.
  6. Fold the LH 3rd row seat downward.
  7. Release the clips (x4) that attach the LH trunk sill side trim to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Plastic trim tool

  8. Remove the LH mid C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - MID - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  9. Remove the LH lower C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - LOWER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  10. Release the clips (x10) that attach the lower portion of the LH C-pillar racetrack to the vehicle, and then move lower portion of the racetrack inward to access the lower trim.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Plastic trim tool

  11. Remove the LH lower racetrack trim. See RACETRACK TRIM - LOWER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  12. Remove the bolts (x3) that secure the LH rear sill racetrack bracket to the vehicle, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 4 in extension
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Torx T25 socket
