Bracket - Racetrack - Header - Rear - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH and RH front doors.
  2. Lower the LH and RH front windows.
  3. Open the LH and RH falcon wing doors.
  4. Remove the LH rear sill panel trim. See TRIM - SILL PANEL - REAR - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  5. Open the liftgate.
  6. Fold the LH 3rd row seat downwards.
  7. Release the clips (x4) that attach the LH trunk sill side trim to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Plastic trim tool

  8. Remove the LH mid C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - MID - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  9. Remove the LH lower C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - LOWER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  10. Remove the LH upper C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - UPPER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  11. Open the LH and RH side rear coat hooks.
    NOTE: Press the coat hooks inward, and then release to open.

  12. Remove the screws (x2) that secure the LH and RH rear coat hooks to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 2 in extension
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
    • Torx T20 socket

  13. Partially release the clips (x11) that attach the LH headliner to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Clip pry tool
    • Plastic trim tool

  14. Remove the LH rear racetrack trim. See RACETRACK TRIM - REAR - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  15. Remove the bolts (x2) and clip that secure the LH rear header racetrack bracket to the vehicle, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 1/4 in to 3/8 in adapter
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Plastic trim tool
    • Torx T40 socket
