Bracket - Racetrack - B-Pillar - Lower - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH and RH front doors.
  2. Lower the LH and RH front windows.
  3. Open the LH and RH falcon wing doors.
  4. Move the LH front seat rearward.
  5. Remove the LH sun visor bezel A-pillar trim. See TRIM - A-PILLAR - SUN VISOR BEZEL - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  6. Remove the bolts (x2), screw, and nut that attach the LH upper A-pillar trim to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Discard the nut after removal.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 2 in extension
    • 10 mm hex
    • 13 mm hex
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Torx T20 socket

  7. Move the LH upper A-pillar trim for access to the headliner.

  8. Remove the screw that attaches the LH front end of the headliner to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 2 in extension
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Torx T20 socket

  9. Move the LH front seat forward.
  10. Release the LH front door seal from the B-pillar trim.

  11. Remove the LH front sill panel trim. See TRIM - SILL PANEL - FRONT - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  12. Remove the LH rear sill panel trim. See TRIM - SILL PANEL - REAR - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  13. Remove the LH lower B-pillar trim. See TRIM - B-PILLAR - LOWER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  14. Release the clips (x3) and magnets (x2) that attach the LH upper B-pillar trim to the B-pillar, and then disconnect the LH falcon wing door button electrical connector.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Clip pry tool
    • Plastic trim tool
    • Pocket screwdriver

  15. Move the LH upper B-pillar trim aside.

  16. Open the liftgate.
  17. Fold the LH 3rd row seat downwards.
  18. Release the clips (x4) that attach the LH trunk sill side trim to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Plastic trim tool

  19. Remove the LH mid C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - MID - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  20. Remove the LH lower C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - LOWER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  21. Release the clips (x10) that attach the lower portion of the LH rear racetrack trim to the vehicle, and then move the trim inward to gain access to the LH lower racetrack trim.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Plastic trim tool

  22. Remove the LH lower racetrack trim. See RACETRACK TRIM - LOWER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  23. Partially release the clips (x5) that attach the LH headliner to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Clip pry tool
    • Plastic trim tool

  24. Remove the LH front racetrack trim. See RACETRACK TRIM - FRONT - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  25. Remove the nuts (x3) that attach the LH lower B-pillar racetrack bracket to the vehicle, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm hex
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
