Tie Down - Rear Trunk - LH - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Position the LH rear trunk tie down on the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x2) that secure the tie down to the vehicle.

    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T45 socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

  2. Install the LH trunk side trim carpet. See CARPET - TRIM - TRUNK - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  3. Install the LH rear trunk tie down ring that attaches the side trim carpet to the tie down.
  4. Install the LH mid C-pillar zone bracket. See BRACKET - ZONE - C-PILLAR - MID - LH (5 SEAT) (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  5. Install the fir tree clip that attaches the charge port manual cable release to the LH mid C-pillar zone bracket.

  6. Install the push clip that attaches the LH soft trim pocket bracket to the vehicle.

  7. Install the LH rear trunk crush can bracket. See TRIM - CRUSH CAN - REAR TRUNK - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  8. Install the clips (x2) and push clips (x4) that attach the rear wall load support to the vehicle.

  9. Install the LH lower C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - LOWER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  10. Install the LH rear sill panel trim. See TRIM - SILL PANEL - REAR - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  11. Install the LH upper C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - UPPER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  12. Install the LH mid C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - MID - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  13. Install the trunk sill trim. See TRIM - SILL - TRUNK (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  14. Install the clips (x4) that attach the RH trunk sill side trim to the vehicle.

  15. Install the clips (x4) that attach the LH trunk sill side trim to the vehicle.

  16. Install the rear trunk load floor. See TRUNK LOAD FLOOR - REAR (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  17. Close the liftgate.
  18. Move the LH and RH monopost seats to original position.
  19. Close the LH and RH falcon wing doors.
  20. Raise the LH and RH front windows.
  21. Close the LH and RH front doors.
