Seat Back Sub-assembly - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7 Seat) - Remove And Replace: Install
- Position the RH 2nd row seat seat back sub-assembly onto the seat assembly, and then maneuver the sub-assembly over the headrest bracket down to the seat controller bracket.
- Secure the lower portion of the RH 2nd row seat back cushion from the seat frame.NOTE: Guide the harness and tension flaps through the seat back frame.
- Position the RH 2nd row seat side airbag into the seat assembly, and then install new nuts (x2) that attach the air bag to the seat assembly.
20 N.m (14.7 ft-lbs)
NOTE: Position the side airbag mounting studs through the backrest frame.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm socket
- Connect the RH 2nd row seat heater and side airbag electrical connectors (x2).
- Position the RH 2nd row seat back plastic to the seat back assembly, and then secure the clips (x5) that attach the seat back plastic to the assembly.
- Fold the seat back upholstery into position, secure the Velcro strips (x2), and then zip the upholstery on the LH and RH sides of backrest cover.NOTE: The ends of zippers are tucked underneath the upholstery.
Tip: Use a pick to help move the zipper.
- Secure the J-hook that attaches the RH 2nd row seat back upholstery to the seat assembly.
- Install the RH 2nd row seat inboard side shield. See SIDE SHIELD - INBOARD - 2ND ROW SEAT - RH (5 SEAT) (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
- Install the RH 2nd row seat cushion sub-assembly. See CUSHION SUB-ASSEMBLY - 2ND ROW SEAT - RH (5 SEAT) (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
- Install the RH 2nd row seat assembly. See SEAT ASSEMBLY - 2ND ROW - RH (7 SEAT) (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .NOTE: It is not necessary to redeploy the vehicle firmware after the RH 2nd row seat assembly is reinstalled.
