Speaker - Headliner - LH - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Position the LH headliner speaker on the headliner, and then install the bolts (x3) that attach the speaker to the headliner.

    2 N.m (1.5 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Mini ratchet bit set
    • Torque wrench 1/4 in Dr. Hexagon - 1060071-00-A

  2. Connect the LH headliner speaker connector.

  3. Install the clips (x11) that attach the LH front headliner to the vehicle.

  4. Install the LH and RH rear coat hooks. See Coat Hook - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  5. Install the LH upper C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  6. Install the LH mid C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Mid - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  7. Install the LH side rear trunk garnish. See Garnish - Rear Trunk - Side - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  8. Unfold the LH 3rd row seat back into original position.
  9. Close the liftgate.
  10. Install the screw that attaches the LH front end of the headliner to the vehicle.

    2 N.m (1.5 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 2 in extension
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
    • Torx T20 socket

  11. Connect the LH falcon wing door button electrical connector, and then install the clips (x3) and magnets (x2) that attach the LH upper B-pillar trim to the B-pillar.
    NOTE: Replace the clips if damaged.

  12. Install the LH lower B-pillar trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  13. Install the LH rear sill panel trim. See Trim - Sill Panel - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  14. Install the LH front sill panel trim. See Trim - Sill Panel - Front - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  15. Fully seat the LH front door seal on the B-pillar trim.

  16. Move the LH front seat rearward.
  17. Position the LH upper A-pillar trim for installation.

  18. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the LH upper A-pillar trim to the vehicle.

    5 N.m (3.7 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 2 in extension
    • 10 mm hex
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

  19. Install the screw that attaches the LH upper A-pillar trim to the vehicle.

    2.5 N.m (1.8 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Torx T20 socket

  20. Install a new nut that attaches the LH upper A-pillar trim to the vehicle.

    5 N.m (3.7 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 2 in extension
    • 13 mm socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

  21. Install the LH sun visor bezel A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Sun Visor Bezel - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  22. Move the LH front seat to original position.
  23. Close the LH and RH falcon wing doors.
  24. Raise the LH and RH front windows.
  25. Close the LH and RH front doors.
