Amplifier - Audio - External - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Open the LH and RH front doors.
- Lower the LH and RH front windows.
- Open the LH and RH falcon wing doors.
- Move the LH and RH front seats forward.
- Fold the 2nd row 40 and 60 seats downward.
- Open the liftgate.
- On the touchscreen, touch Controls > Safety & Security > Power Off .
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) .
- Remove the rear trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the front trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Front (Remove and Replace) .
- Release the clip and tabs (x3) that attach the RH trunk side mini nub to the RH trunk load floor bracket, and then remove the mini nub from the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Plastic trim tool
- Remove the trunk gap hider. See Gap Hider - Trunk (5 Seat) (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the LH and RH side rear trunk garnish. See Garnish - Rear Trunk - Side - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the trunk sill trim. See Trim - Sill - Trunk (Remove and Replace) .
- Release the clips (x2) and push clips (x4) that attach the rear wall load support to the vehicle, and then remove the support from the vehicle.
- Remove the RH mid C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Mid - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the RH lower C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the RH upper C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Release the RH trunk tie down from the RH side trim carpet.
- Remove the RH trunk side trim. See Trim - Side - Trunk - RH (Remove and Replace) .
- Release the clips (x2) that attach the RH body harness to the external audio amplifier.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Clip pry tool
- Disconnect the external audio amplifier connectors (x3).
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Pocket screwdriver
- Remove the bolt that attaches the external audio amplifier to the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Remove the nuts (x2) that attach the external audio amplifier to the vehicle, and then remove the amplifier from the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
