Antenna Amplifier - FM - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Position the FM antenna amplifier into the liftgate, and then secure the retainer that attaches the amplifier to the liftgate.
    NOTE: Press the amplifier into the liftgate to seat the retainer.
    NOTE: Make sure the datum is aligned and the retainer clips is secure.

  2. Install the bolt that attaches the FM antenna amplifier to the liftgate.

    5 N.m (3.7 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Torx T30 socket

  3. Connect the electrical connectors (x2) to the FM antenna amplifier.

  4. Install the liftgate upper trim. See Trim - Upper - Liftgate (Remove and Replace)
  5. Install the liftgate speaker trim. See Grille - Speaker - Liftgate (Remove and Replace) .
  6. Install the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace) .
