Panel - Footrest - Front Passenger (LHD) - Remove and Install: Remove

  1. Open the RH front door and lower the RH front window.
  2. Move the front passenger seat fully rearwards.
  3. Remove the RH front floor mat.
  4. Remove the passenger footwell cover. See COVER - FOOTWELL - PASSENGER - REMOVE AND REPLACE
  5. Release the clips (x11) that attach the LH center console side panel carpet to the vehicle, and then remove the carpet from the vehicle.
  6. Remove the RH primary front side body seal.
  7. Remove the RH middle A-pillar trim. See TRIM - A-PILLAR - MIDDLE - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE
  8. Remove the RH lower A-pillar trim. See TRIM - A-PILLAR - LOWER - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE
  9. Fold the RH front cabin carpet aside for access.

  10. Release the clip that attaches the electrical harness to the front passenger footrest panel.

  11. Remove the bolts (x2) and nuts (x2) that attach the front passenger footrest panel to the body.

    5 N.m (3.7 lbs-ft) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    1. 10 mm socket

  12. Fold the RH primary carpet and support back, and pull the RH front passenger footrest panel upwards to remove it from the vehicle.
