Seal - Rear Door Cantrail - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the LH upper rear door glass assembly. See DOOR GLASS ASSEMBLY - REAR - UPPER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  2. Remove the push clips (x7) that attach the LH rear door front pinch sensor to the door assembly, release the sensor from the door assembly, and then use masking tape to tape the pinch sensor aside.
    CAUTION: Do not pull the pinch sensor too far away from the door assembly as the connector is still connected.
    CAUTION: Make sure not to stress the harness.

  3. Remove the push clips (x7) that attach the LH rear door rear pinch sensor to the door assembly, release the sensor from the door assembly, and then us masking tape to tape the pinch sensor aside.
    CAUTION: Do not pull the pinch sensor too far away from the door assembly as the connector is still connected.
    CAUTION: Make sure not to stress the harness.

  4. Loosen the nuts (x7) that attach the underside of the LH rear door cantrail seal to the door assembly.

    5 N.m (3.7 ft-lbs) 

    NOTE: Do not remove the fasteners.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 8 mm socket

  5. Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the sides of the LH rear door cantrail seal to the door assembly, and then remove the seal from the vehicle.

    3.5 N.m (2.6 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • T25 socket
