Cable - Cinch - Liftgate - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Install new liftgate cinch cable onto the liftgate latch.

  2. Position the liftgate latch onto the liftgate, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the liftgate latch to the liftgate.

    10 N.m (7.4 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • T30 socket

  3. Connect the liftgate latch electrical connector.

  4. Install the liftgate cinching actuator. See ACTUATOR - CINCHING - LIFTGATE (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
