Crossmember - V Brace - Shock Tower - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
  2. Remove the LH and RH underhood aprons. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  3. Remove the LH and RH wiper arms. See Wiper Arm - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  4. Release the washer hose nozzle near the LH shock tower cover.

  5. Remove the LH and RH shock tower covers. See Cover - Shock Tower - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  6. Remove the wiper cowl screen panel. See Panel - Cowl Screen (Remove and Replace) .
  7. Remove the LH and RH V-braces. See V Brace - Shock Tower - LH (Remove And Replace) .
  8. Remove the nuts (x2) that attach the shock tower V-brace crossmember to the vehicle.

    Torque 18 N.m 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 10 mm socket
