Horn Assembly - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift .
  2. Remove the LH front wheel. See Wheel (Remove and Install) .
  3. Release the clips (x7) that attach the front of the LH front wheel house liner to the vehicle, and then move the liner aside for access.

  4. Release the electrical connector from the low tone horn.
    CAUTION: DO NOT push down on the red locking tab. Pull the tab away from the connector until the connector is unlocked, and then continue pulling to release the connector.

  5. Release the electrical connector from the high tone horn.
    CAUTION: DO NOT push down on the red locking tab. Pull the tab away from the connector until the connector is unlocked, and then continue pulling to release the connector.

  6. Remove the nut that attaches the horn assembly to the vehicle.
    NOTE: 1x nut, 10 mm
