Carrier - Seal - Rear - B-Pillar - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH doors and lower the LH windows.
  2. Remove the LH B-pillar applique. See Applique - B-Pillar - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  3. Remove clip that attaches the LH rear body side primary seal to the B-Pillar panel.

  4. Release the LH rear body side primary seal from the rear upper body side B-Pillar carrier.

  5. Drill out the rivets (x2) that secure the LH front upper body side B-Pillar carrier, and then remove the rivets from the vehicle. Use a punch to remove the remaining portion of the rivets.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 4.5 mm drill bit

  6. Remove any remaining debris from the B-pillar, and then use an IPA wipe to clean the body.
    NOTE: Allow 1 minute for dry time.
