Striker - Hood - Remove And Replace: Install
- Using the masking tape as a guide, install the hood striker to the hood, but do not fully torque the bolts.
- Close the hood and use the gap and flush tool to verify the hood alignment is within specification.
- Open the hood and adjust the striker position as necessary.
- Torque the bolts that attach the hood striker to the hood.
Torque 20 N.m
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T40 socket
- 3 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Remove the masking tape from the hood.
- Close the hood.
