Pinch Sensor - Liftgate - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace) .
  2. Disconnect the LH liftgate pinch sensor electrical connector.
    NOTE: Rotate the connector to access the release tab.

  3. Remove the clips (x6) that attach the LH liftgate pinch sensor assembly to the liftgate.

  4. Release the LH liftgate pinch sensor grommet, and then remove the harness from the liftgate.

  5. Maneuver the LH liftgate pinch sensor assembly around the wedge bumper and then away from the liftgate to remove it from the vehicle.
