Latch - Door - Rear - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Remove the LH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the LH lower A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove LH and RH 2nd row seat side bolsters. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace) .
- Fold the LH 2nd row seat to the down position.NOTE: Protect the 2nd row seat back before lowering.
- Remove the LH lower C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove LH middle C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Mid - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the LH lower B-pillar trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Fold the LH rear cabin carpet aside for access to the release cable.
- Release the clip that attaches the LH rear door release cable to the body.
- Fold the LH rear wheelhouse absorber aside for access to the closeout panel for LH rear door latch assembly, and then release the latch cable from the wheelhouse absorber.
- Remove the closeout panel for the LH rear door latch assembly.
- Release the locking tab, and then disconnect the LH rear door latch assembly electrical connector.
- Remove and discard the bolts (x2) that attach the LH rear door latch to the body, and then remove the latch from the vehicle.
Torque 10 N.m
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 socket
