Handle - Emergency Release - Liftgate - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace) .
  2. Release the tab that attaches the liftgate emergency release handle to the trunk trim.

  3. Release the locking tab that attaches the liftgate emergency release handle to the release cable, and then remove the release handle from the assembly.
