Latch - Seat Back - 2nd Row Seat - RH - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Open RH doors and lower the RH windows.
- Move front passenger seat forward.
- Remove the RH 2nd row seat back panel. See Back Panel - 2nd Row Seat - RH (Remove And Replace) .
- Remove the RH 2nd row seat back side cover. See COVER - SIDE - SEAT BACK - 2ND ROW - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE)
- Remove the clip that attaches the RH 2nd row seat shoulder plastic trim to the latch assembly.
- Remove the RH 2nd row headrest. See Headrest - 2nd Row - LH (Remove And Replace)
- Remove the RH 2nd row backrest LH and RH headrest guides.NOTE: Lift the headrest guide locking tabs and slide headrest guide out of frame assembly. Guide with adjustment button installed inboard.
- Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the RH 2nd row backrest cushion to the back frame.
8 N.m (5.9 ft-lbs)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Fold the RH 2nd row seat to the vertical position, but do not latch the seat back.
- Release the clips (x8) that attach the RH 2nd row seat backrest cushion to the frame, disconnect the electrical connector, and then separate the backrest cushion from the frame.NOTE: Do not remove the cushion from vehicle.
- Remove the clips (x3) that attach the RH 2nd row seat shoulder plastic trim to the frame assembly.
- Remove the clips (x6) that attach the RH 2nd row seat shoulder plastic trim to the seat assembly, disconnect the fold switch electrical connector, and then remove the plastic trim from the seat assembly.
- Disconnect the RH 2nd row seat, seat latch electrical connector.
- Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the RH 2nd row seat, seat latch to the seat assembly, and then remove the latch from the assembly.
20 N.m (14.7 ft-lbs)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm socket
