Antenna - GNSS - Remove and Replace: Install

  1. Position the GNSS antenna on the glare shield, secure the retaining tabs (x2), and then install the screw that attaches the antenna to the glare shie

    0.8 Nm (7 lbs-in) 

    NOTE: Slide the antenna into the LH side of the bracket.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • T10 bit

  2. Connect the electrical connector to the GNSS antenna.

  3. Reset the Driver Assistance System (DAS).
    1. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock) .
    2. On the touchscreen Service Mode menu, touch Driver Assist > Cameras > Reset DAS  .
    3. On the touchscreen Cameras diagram, confirm that the Reset DAS  button is highlighted green and that all DAS components display a green status light.
      NOTE: Investigate and rectify any DAS components that display a red status light.

  4. Install the upper camera cover. See Camera Cover - Upper - Remove And Replace .
  5. Install the rear view mirror. See Mirror - Rear View (Remove and Replace) .
  6. Disable Service Mode. See Service Mode (Enable And Disable) .
