Side Repeater - Front - LH (HW4) - Remove and Replace: Remove
- Apply masking tape to the LH front fender assembly at the edges of the LH front side repeater.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Masking tape
- Release the push clip that attaches the LH front side repeater to the LH front fender assembly.
Inside fender view is for clarity only and access is not required for procedure
- Apply light constant pressure towards the fender at the rear of the side repeater, and keep pressure applied until the side repeater is released from the fender.
- Slide the side repeater approximately 5 mm towards the rear of the vehicle until the front clip is clear of the fender.
- Pull the front end of the side repeater away from the fender until the front clip releases from the fender.
- Slide the side repeater towards the front of the vehicle until the rear hook clip releases from the fender.
- Apply light constant pressure towards the fender at the rear of the side repeater, and keep pressure applied until the side repeater is released from the fender.
- Disconnect the LH front side repeater connectors (x2).NOTE: Press down on the lock release and pull the connector away from the side repeater camera. Release the red locking tab and press down to disconnect the side repeater connector.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Pocket screwdriver
- Remove the LH front side repeater from the vehicle.
- Remove the LH front side repeater camera. See Side Repeater Camera - Front - LH (HW4) (Remove and Replace) .
