Hinge - Trunk - LH - Remove and Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the trunk assembly. See TRUNK (REMOVE AND INSTALL) .
  2. Remove the LH side trunk trim. See TRIM - SIDE - TRUNK - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  3. Use masking tape to mark the position of the trunk hinge on the body.
  4. Remove the LH trunk gas strut. See GAS STRUT - TRUNK - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  5. Remove the nuts that attach the LH trunk hinge to the body, and remove the hinge from the vehicle.

    24 N.m (17.7 ft-lbs)
