Assembly - Trailer Hitch - Remove And Replace: Remove

Remove the rear fascia. See FASCIA - REAR (REMOVE AND INSTALL) .
Disconnect the trailer hitch assembly electrical connector.

Remove the LH nuts (x3) and RH nuts (x3) that attach the trailer hitch assembly to the studs on the body of the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 15 mm, 6-point deep socket
- 6 in extension

Remove the trailer hitch assembly from the vehicle.
Tip: Recommend assistance when performing this step.
