Hinge - Hood - LH - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Position the LH hood hinge into the vehicle.

  2. Install the bolts that attaches the LH hood hinge to the body.

    25 N.m (18.4 lbs-ft) 

    NOTE: Use the masking tape to aid in alignment. Adjust the hood hinge as needed.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 13 mm swivel ball socket

  3. Remove the masking tape from the LH hinge location.

  4. Install the clip that attaches the LH gas strut to the hood hinge.

  5. Install the hood. See HOOD (REMOVE AND INSTALL) .
