Switch - Closure - Liftgate - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the liftgate lower trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace) .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the liftgate switch.

  3. Remove the screws that attach the liftgate switch to the liftgate.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
