Sensor - Parking Distance - Outer - Front - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Install the front parking distance sensor to the front fascia.

  2. Connect the electrical harness to the parking sensor.

  3. Install the clips (x8) that attach the front of the front wheel arch liner to the vehicle.

  4. Install the front fender garnish that is closest to the parking sensor that is being serviced. See GARNISH - FENDER - FRONT - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  5. Install the front wheel that is closest to the front outer parking sensor that is being serviced. See Wheel (Remove and Install) .
  6. Consult the parts catalog to determine the type of parking sensor installed on the vehicle. If the vehicle is equipped with Tesla USS, run the following Toolbox 3.0 routines Toolbox 3 - Connect and Disconnect in the order listed:
    1. TEST-RESET_PARK
    2. PROC_USM_FRONT_PROGRAM-USS-ADDRESSES
  7. Remove the laptop from the vehicle.
