Seal - Inner Belt - Front Door - LH - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Remove the front door trim panel. See PANEL - DOOR TRIM - FRONT - LH (REMOVE AND INSTALL) .
  2. Gently lift, and then pull back the inner belt seal.

  3. Remove the LH outer belt seal.
    NOTE: Use a plastic trim tool to remove the outer belt seal from the door while preventing to remove brightwork.
    NOTE: A gentle rolling of the belt seal towards the outer panel side of the door shell will be felt when releasing the outer belt seal from the door.

  4. Remove the clips (x2) that attach the LH door front inner belt seal to the door, and then remove the seal from the vehicle.
    NOTE: The rear section is clipped into the body of the door, and the front has a clip by the fixed glass.
    NOTE: The total number of clips might vary on newer vehicles.

  5. Clean up any double-sided tape adhesive residue from the seal that might be attached to the door with a plastic trim tool and Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) wipes.
