Strut - Rear Door - Primary - LH - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Apply protective tape onto the racetrack trim to prevent damage.
  2. Remove the upper door trim bracket:
  3. Support the rear door.
    WARNING: Ensure that the door is fully supported before continuing. Either have an assistant support the full weight of the door or use a pole jack.
  4. Disconnect the primary strut harness, then release the 2 clips that secure the harness to the door.
  5. Release the strut from the door.

  6. Release the strut from the body.

WARNING: Continue to support the door until the new strut is installed.
