Retainer - Sill - Rear - LH - Remove And Replace: Installation

  1. Hold the new sill retainer up to the frame rail and ensure that the holes line up correctly.
    NOTE: The front and rear sill retainers are not interchangeable.
  2. If necessary, lower the vehicle to a comfortable working height.
  3. Place new barrel nuts in their proper location on top of the new sill retainer.
  4. Carefully push the new sill retainer into the frame rail towards the front of the vehicle until the holes are aligned.
  5. Install rivets (x3) to secure the sill retainer to the frame rail.

    Tip: Have an assistant temporarily hold the sill retainer in place with one of the other rivets while installing the first rivet.

  6. Reinstall the rear wheel arch liner Wheel Arch Liner - Rear - LH (Remove And Replace) .
  7. Install the HV Battery HV Battery (AWD) (Remove And Install) .
