Retainer - Sill - Front - LH - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Remove the HV Battery HV Battery (AWD) (Remove And Install) .
  2. Remove the front LH wheel arch liner Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove And Replace) .
  3. Drill out the rivets (x3) that secure the sill retainer to the frame rail.
    WARNING: Wear protective eyewear and hearing protection when drilling.

  4. Working from the front wheel well, slide the sill retainer out from the frame rail.

    Tip: Use a screwdriver to push up on the sill retainer from the bolt holes if the sill retainer is snagged on the frame rail.

  5. Discard the barrel nuts.
