Fan - Cushion - Driver Seat - Remove and Replace: Installation

  1. Insert the LH front seat cushion fan retaining tabs (x2) into the seat cushion fan assembly.
    NOTE: 2x tabs

  2. Install the clips (x2) that attach the LH front seat cushion fan.
    NOTE: Press the seat cushion fan upwards to the seat cushion fan assembly.

  3. Connect the LH front seat cushion fan connector, and install the harness clip.

  4. If the backrest fan is Futuris, it must be replaced by a Kongsberg fan. See FAN - BACKREST - DRIVER SEAT (REMOVE & REPLACE) .
  5. Update the "seat_vent" configuration parameter value as required. See Gateway Configuration (Display and Change) .
    • 0: NONE  (seats not ventilated, not applicable for this procedure))
    • 1: FUTURIS  (both front seats Futuris)
    • 2: L_FUTURIS_R_KONGSBERG  (LH seat Futuris, RH seat Kongsberg)
    • 3: L_KONGSBERG_R_FUTURIS  (LH seat Kongsberg, RH seat Futuris)
    • 4: KONGSBERG  (both front seats Kongsberg)
  6. Disconnect the laptop from the vehicle.
