Foam And Trim - Cushion - Driver's Seat - Remove And Replace: Installation
- Position the new seat cushion foam and trim on the driver's seat assembly, and then tuck the rear portion of the trim into the into the seat assembly.
- Check that the seat cushion harnesses are untangled, routed properly, and that the seat cushion foam is on top of the seat assembly bar.
- Fold the seat cushion trim down over the seat cushion foam.NOTE: Make sure to align the seat cushion selvedge with the channel in the driver's seat assembly.
- Smooth the wrinkles out of the seat cushion trim, and then attach the seat cushion trim perimeter j-hook to the driver's seat j-hook channel.NOTE: Start from the rear corner of the seat cushion trim, and then work around the perimeter.
- Connect the seat cushion connectors.
- Install the j-hooks that attach the rear portion of the seat cushion trim to the seat assembly.
- Install the clips that attach the RH side of the seat cushion trim to the seat assembly.
- Install the clip that attaches the LH side of the seat cushion trim to the seat assembly.
- Install the front seat trim to the driver's seat assembly.
- Install the clip that attaches the electrical harness to the inner seat trim.
- Install the inner seat trim to the driver's seat assembly.
- Lift the rear lower panel and install the screw that attaches the inner seat trim to the driver's seat assembly (torque 2 N.m).
- Connect the seat switch connector to the outer seat trim.
- Install the outer seat trim to the driver's seat assembly.
- Lift the rear lower panel and install the screw that attaches the outer seat trim to the driver's seat assembly (torque 2 N.m).
- Install the j-hooks that attach the rear toe kick to the underside of the driver's seat assembly.
- Install the driver's seat assembly. See Seat Assembly - 1st Row - LH (Remove and Install) .
- Remove any protective tape or fender cover used.
