Remove And Replace

  1. Open LH rear door

  2. Move LH 2nd row seat fully forward using easy entry mode

  3. Open liftgate

  4. Remove rear load floor

  5. Remove trunk board

  6. Fold down LH 3rd row seat
    NOTE: Press button located on LH 3rd row seat back assembly near headrest, fold seat back down towards front of vehicle into a flat position

  7. Fold down RH 3rd row seat
    NOTE: Press button located on RH 3rd row seat back assembly near headrest, fold seat back down towards front of vehicle into a flat position

  8. Remove trunk floor carpet

  9. Drill out rivets securing rear seat back carpet to LH 3rd row seat
    NOTE: 2x rivets, Use vacuum to collect debris while drilling out rivets, Use 3/16" or 3 mm drill bit

  10. Remove rear seat back carpet from LH 3rd row seat
    NOTE: 9x clips

  11. Release lower section of LH 3rd row seat upholstery
    NOTE: 4x tabs, 2x, fir tree clips, 1x J hook, Release tabs by pulling inward and up

  12. Disconnect LH 3rd row seat connector
    NOTE: 1x connector, 1x clip

  13. Re-route LH 3rd row seat connector through lower section of upholstery

  14. Connect LH 3rd row seat connector
    NOTE: 1x connector, Route around seat upholstery

  15. Unfold LH 3rd row seat into upright position
    NOTE: Leave headrest in folded position

  16. Remove upper half of LH 3rd row seat upholstery
    NOTE: Release J-hook clip around edges of upholstery

  17. From the 3rd row, pull seat cover and foam upward to access actuator
    NOTE: Use fold function to feed bottom of seat upholstery forward, Use caution to not snag J-hooks, Actuator is located on the front side of the seat back under the upholstery and cushion assembly

  18. Release seat recliner cable from bracket
    NOTE: Cut zip tie and slide cable to release

  19. Release seat recliner cable from LH 3rd row actuator pulley
    NOTE: Note direction of actuator pulley

    NOTE: Part is directional

  21. Install new LH 3rd row recliner seat actuator pulley
    NOTE: Align pulley to actuator gear, Locking clip and pulley are directional

  22. Connect seat recliner cable to actuator pulley

  23. Install seat recliner cable onto seat frame
    NOTE: Secure with cable tie

  24. Fold cushion and upholstery assembly down
    NOTE: 2x iso fix bars, Using folding function to assist with tucking upholstery, Ensure iso fix bars are fed through upholstery and seat belt does not get caught

  25. Install upper half of LH 3rd row seat upholstery
    NOTE: Fold seat to workable position, Start at one end and fold J hook inwards until the other end of the upholstery is tucked, Press firmly along J hook to seat fully

  26. Disconnect LH 3rd row seat connector
    NOTE: 1x connector

  27. Route LH 3rd row seat connector through seat upholstery

    NOTE: 1x connector, 1x clip

  29. Secure lower half of upholstery
    NOTE: 4x tabs, 2x, fir tree clips, 1x J hook

  30. Install rear seat back carpet onto LH 3rd row seat

  31. Install rivets into LH 3rd row seat back carpet
    NOTE: 2x rivets, Plastics rivet replaces metal rivet/washer combo

  32. Reinstall front lower carpet trim panel
    NOTE: Secure 3rd row seat wiring harnesses to panel

  36. Move LH 2nd row seat from the easy entry position to the regular upright seating position
    NOTE: Slide seat track backwards by pushing towards rear of vehicle, Fold upper seat backwards until locked in an upright position
