Sensor - Position - Seat Track - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Monopost) - Remove and Replace: Removal
- Open all doors and the liftgate.
- Move both front seats forward.
- Remove 2nd row floor mat.
- Move both 2nd row seats forward using easy entry.
- Apply painters tape to LH and RH racetrack to avoid damage.
- Remove the LH and RH rear sill panel trim TRIM - SILL PANEL - REAR - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
- Remove the LH and RH lower C-pillar trim Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove And Replace) .
- Fold down the LH and RH 3rd row seats.
- Remove LH and RH rear trunk side garnish GARNISH - REAR TRUNK - SIDE - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
- Remove the LH and RH mid C-pillar trim TRIM - C-PILLAR - MID - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
- Remove the screws (x2) that attach the C-pillar lower panel to LH and RH parcel shelf support (torque 2 N.m).
- Release the clips (x2) and magnet that attach the rear edge of LH and RH C-pillar lower panel to the rear trunk side carpet panel, and then pull the top edge of C-pillar lower panel out.
- Release the clips (x9) that attach the LH and RH C-pillar lower panel along the front edge, and then remove the panel.
- Put tape on the rear center console cup holder trim to prevent it from damage.
- Move both 2nd row seats rearward using easy entry.
- Release the clips (x4), tilt the front edge of the second row floor panel 3 upwards, and then remove it in vertical position.NOTE: Recommend assistance.CAUTION: Take precautions not to damage the rear of the center console during removal.
- Move the LH second row seat forward.
- Remove the clips (x8) that attach the podium trim panels to the LH 2nd row seat.
- Move the LH second row seat fully backward.
- Peel back the 2nd row seat sliding panel carpet stag beetle carpet.
- Remove the screws (x2) that attach the front sliding panel to the seat tracks of the LH rear seat.
- Remove the front sliding panel from the seat tracks of the LH rear seat.
- Maneuver the seat track sensor connector out from the installed position.
- Disconnect the seat track position sensor connector.
- Remove the rivet that attaches the seat track sensor to the seat track.NOTE: Use a 4 mm drill to remove the top portion of the rivet.
- Remove the seat track position sensor from the seat track.
- Remove the remaining rivet from the seat frame.
- Vacuum all the aluminum filings.
