Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (With Broken Seat Track Motor) - Remove And Install: Installation
WARNING:
Ensure that 12V is still disconnected.
- Install a new outer track onto the seat TRACK - OUTER - 2ND ROW SEAT - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .NOTE: Do not fully torque that nuts that secure the track at this time.
- Vacuum the seat and the interior of the vehicle to remove any shavings from drilling the old track.
- Position the seat inside the vehicle.
- Reconnect the seat harnesses.
- Reconnect 12V power.
- Fully move the seat backward and forward.
- Fully torque the nuts that secure the outer track (torque 40 N.m).
- Fully track the seat backward and forward.
- Reinstall bolts for the rear of the seat in the following order. If any threads are damaged, discard the fastener and use a rivnut.
- Bolts 1-4: 33 N.m
- Bolts 5 & 6: 22 N.m
- Install new bolts for the front of the seat in the following order (torque 33 N.m):
- Unlock the vehicle gateway for diagnostic communication, if not already unlocked. See Gateway Unlock.
- Using Toolbox 3:
- Select the Actions tab and search for "Seat Install Mode".
- Select the ODIN routine PROC_BCREAR_X_SEAT-INSTALL-MODE-OFF , and then click the link of the routine.
- Click RUN , and allow the routine to complete.
- Using Toolbox 3:
- Select the Actions tab and search for "Calibrate Pitch".
- Select the ODIN routine PROC_BCS2L_R2-L_CALIBRATE-S2L-PITCH , and then click the link of the routine.
- Click RUN , and allow the routine to complete.
- Using Toolbox 3:
- Select the Actions tab and search for "Calibrate Track".
- Select the ODIN routine PROC_BCS2L_R2-L_CALIBRATE-S2L-TRACK , and then click the link of the routine.
- Click RUN , and allow the routine to complete.
- Install a new carpet at the base of the seat.
- Reinstall all components that were removed for access.
