Triple Camera Pitch Adjustment - Forward Facing - 2nd Generation Autopilot - Retrofit: Retrofit

  1. Remove the rear view mirror.
  2. Release the fasteners that attach the mirror cover.

  3. Release the fasteners (x6) that attach the mount plate (torque 0.8 N.m), and then remove and discard the mount plate.
    NOTE: Allow the camera to hang by its harness.

  4. Apply two double-sided tape strips to the glare shield to ensure proper connector placement.
    NOTE: Failure to secure the connections can cause potential NVH issues.

  5. Install the triple camera rear view mirror mount plate with integrated pitch adjustment onto the glare shield. Install the 6 fasteners in the order shown (torque 0.8 N.m).
    NOTE: Make sure the wire harness is routed correctly. Coaxial connector ends should be pointing towards the right.

  6. Perform a camera pitch verification CAMERA - FORWARD FACING (PITCH VERIFICATION) .
  7. Remove the adhesive backing that was applied to the glare shield in Step  4, and then secure the connectors into position.
  8. Reinstall the rear view mirror.
