Harness - Door - Front - LH - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Remove the LH front door trim panel Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove And Install) .
  2. Remove the LH front door closeout panel Closeout Panel - Door - Front - LH (Remove And Install) .
  3. Disconnect 12V power DISCONNECT 12V POWER .
  4. Remove the LH front door controller module Module - Front Door Controller - LH (Remove And Replace) .
  5. Disconnect the LH window motor.

  6. Remove the LH front door speaker Speaker - Front Door (Remove And Replace) .
  7. Disconnect the LH door mirror connectors.

  8. Disconnect the LH door pop actuator connector.

  9. Disconnect the door handle connector.

  10. Disconnect the latch connector.

  11. Disconnect the connector to the LH front door drive unit.

  12. Remove the bolt (torque 9 N.m) that attaches the LH front door harness ground wire to the door.

  13. Release the clips (x10) that attach the LH front door harness to the door.

  14. Release the clip that attaches the harness below the LH front door drive unit.

  15. Release the clip that attaches the harness to the base of the LH front door.

  16. Release the grommet from the LH front door.

  17. Remove the harness from the LH front door.
    NOTE: Pull the grommets through the door, and then pull the harness out through the closeout panel access opening.

  18. Move the LH front A-pillar carpet aside.

  19. Disconnect the LH front door connectors (x4) from the main center body harness.

  20. Release the LH front A-pillar grommet.

  21. Remove the LH front door harness from the vehicle.
