Latch - Liftgate - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Open liftgate and secure at working height.
  2. Remove liftgate trim Finisher - Liftgate - Rear Window - Lower (Remove And Replace)
  3. Disconnect wiring harness connector.
  4. Remove screws (x2) securing liftgate latch assembly (torque 10 N.m/7.37 ft-lbs.).

  5. Release outer cable from abutment and disconnect inner cable from latch assembly.

  6. Remove latch assembly.
