Sensor - Parking Distance - Inner - Rear - Remove And Replace: Removal

Remove the rear fascia assembly Fascia Assembly - Rear (Remove And Install) .
Set the fascia assembly on a flat, clean surface.
Release the locking tab, and then disconnect the electrical harness from the parking distance sensor.

Carefully release the tabs that attach the parking sensor to the fascia bracket, and then remove the sensor from the bracket.
Tip: If needed, use a pick or small flat head screwdriver to carefully release the bracket tabs.

NOTE: Make sure the sensor retainer ring is also removed.
If reusing the retainer ring, remove the retainer ring and inspect for damage.
CAUTION: Do not reuse the ring if it is overly worn or damaged.
