- Drive the vehicle into a stall with a rack
- Open all four doors
- Move 2nd row seats forward using easy entry
- Fold 3rd row seats down
- Remove rear load floor
- Remove front lower carpet trim panelNOTE: Release 3rd row seat wiring harnesses from panel
- Fold 3rd row seats up
- Disconnect 3rd row seat electrical connectorsNOTE: 2x connectors
- Lift 3rd row lower cushionNOTE: 3x clips
- Set up the torchless heat induction tool
- Remove 3rd row seats front boltsNOTE: 4x bolts, T45, 34 Nm, discard patch bolts
- Remove 3rd row rear seat bolt coversNOTE: Plastic can be damaged/melted while applying the heat gun to the bolt inside each cover
- Remove 3rd row seats rear boltsNOTE: 4x bolts, T45, 34 Nm, discard patch bolts
- Remove 3rd row seat from vehicleNOTE: Recommend assistance
- Chase bolts holes to clean out the old lock tight
- Remove 3rd row carpet from vehicle
- Apply tape to RH racetrack trim for protection.
- Apply tape to LH racetrack to avoid damage
- Pull back lower seal on LH B-Pillar applique and remove screws securing LH B-Pillar appliqueNOTE: 2x bolts, T25, 3 Nm
- Release retaining clip securing the LH B-Pillar applique to the bodyNOTE: 1x retaining clip, Clip is located about 80mm below camera lens opening, Slide plastic pry tool behind LH applique seal and twist to release clip
- Release the LH B-Pillar applique from the bodyNOTE: Pull applique down to release upper tab and pull applique away from body, Use caution as camera harness does not have much slack
- Disconnect LH B-Pillar camera connectorNOTE: 1x connector, Hold LH B-Pillar applique away from body to gain better access to the camera connector
- Remove LH B-Pillar applique from vehicleNOTE: Release B-pillar applique seal away from applique, Start at the top side and work around until seal is off, Do not damage seal
- Pull back lower seal on RH side and remove screws securing RH appliqueNOTE: 2x bolts, T25, 3 Nm
- Slide plastic pry tool behind RH applique seal and twist to release clipNOTE: Clip is located about 80mm below camera lens opening
- Release the LH B-Pillar applique from the bodyNOTE: Pull applique down to release upper tab and pull applique away from body, Use caution as camera harness does not have much slack
- Hold RH applique away from body and disconnect camera harness connectorNOTE: 1x connector
- Remove LH B-Pillar applique from vehicleNOTE: Release B-pillar applique seal away from applique, Start at the top side and work around until seal is off, Do not damage seal
- Remove LH sunvisor bezelNOTE: 6x clips, 1x tab, Release clips, then slide bezel towards front of vehicle to release
- Remove LH upper A-pillar trimNOTE: 1x nut, 13mm, 8 Nm, 1x screw, T20, 2 Nm, 2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, 2x connectors
- Move LH front seat forward
- Remove LH rear welcome plateNOTE: 8x clips
- Remove LH rear door sill trimNOTE: 1x bolt, T25, 2x clips, 2.5 Nm Discard bolt after removal
- Remove LH front lower door sillNOTE: 8x clips, 3x datums
- Remove LH lower A-pillar trim
- Move LH front door seal away from B-pillar
- Remove bolts securing LH lower B-pillarNOTE: 7x clips, 2x bolts, T25, 3 Nm
- Remove bolts securing LH upper B-pillarNOTE: 2x bolts, T25, 3 Nm, 3x clips
- Remove bolt securing LH C-pillar lower trim panelNOTE: 1x patch bolt, T25, 2.5 Nm, discard patch bolt
- Remove LH trunk sill side trimNOTE: 4x clips
- Remove screw securing LH C-pillar mid trimNOTE: 1x screw, T20, 2 Nm
- Release clips securing LH C-pillar mid trim and removeNOTE: 9x clips
- Remove fasteners securing LH upper C-pillar trim panelNOTE: 1x patch bolt, T25, 3 Nm, 3x screws, T20, 2 Nm
- Release clips and remove LH upper C-pillar trim panelNOTE: 6x clips, 2 clips along front edge and 4 clips along top edge
- Remove RH rear welcome plateNOTE: 8x clips
- Remove bolt securing RH C-pillar lower trim panelNOTE: 1x patch bolt, T25, 2.5 Nm, discard patch bolt
- Remove RH trunk sill side trimNOTE: 4x clips
- Remove screw securing RH C-pillar mid trimNOTE: 1x screw, T20, 2 Nm
- Release clips securing RH C-pillar mid trim and removeNOTE: 9x clips
- Remove fasteners securing RH upper C-pillar trim panelNOTE: 1x screw, T-25, 3 Nm 3x screws, T-20, 2 Nm
- Release clips and remove RH upper C-pillar trim panelNOTE: 6x clips
- Remove screws securing trunk sill panelNOTE: 2x screw, T25, 3 Nm
- Pull up to release clips and remove trunk sill panelNOTE: 4x clips
- Remove clips securing rear wall trim panelNOTE: 4x push clips
- Release clips and remove rear wall trim panelNOTE: Pull panel towards front of vehicle and then pull up to release
- Remove trunk board
- Remove screws securing C-pillar lower panel to LH parcel shelf supportNOTE: 2x screws, T20, 2 Nm
- Release clips securing rear edge of LH C-pillar lower panel to rear trunk side carpet panel and pull top edge of C-pillar lower panel outNOTE: 2x clips, 1x magnet
- Release clips securing LH C-pillar lower panel along front edge and remove panelNOTE: 9x clips, 1x magnet
- Release clips securing LH rear trunk side carpet panel to bracketNOTE: 5x push clips, One is hidden between 3rd row seat and trunk side carpet panel
- Remove LH trunk side carpet panelNOTE: 2x connectors, Disconnect trunk light and 12V outlet connectors before removal, Pull rear lower corner of LH trunk side carpet panel out and downwards to remove panel
- Remove fasteners securing C-pillar lower panel to RH parcel shelf supportNOTE: 2x screws, T20, 2 Nm
- Release clips securing rear edge of RH C-pillar lower panel to rear trunk side carpet panel and pull top edge of C-pillar lower panel outNOTE: 2x clips, 1x magnet
- Release clips securing RH C-pillar lower panel along front edge and remove panelNOTE: 9x clips, 1x magnet
- Release clips securing RH rear trunk side carpet panel to bracketNOTE: 3x push clips, One is hidden between 3rd row seat and trunk side carpet panel
- Pull rear lower corner of RH trunk side carpet panel out and downwards to remove panel

- Move RH front door seal away from B-pillar
- Remove bolts securing RH lower B-pillarNOTE: 2x bolts, T25, 3 Nm, 7x clips
- Remove bolts securing RH upper B-pillarNOTE: 2x bolts, T25, 3 Nm, 3x clips
- Remove front LH, RH screws securing headliner to upper body paneNOTE: 2x screws, T20, 2 Nm, 34x clips, Lower headliner starting from the rear side
- Disconnect headliner harnessNOTE: 1x connector
- Remove headliner from vehicleNOTE: 30x clips, Recommend assistance Remove through liftgate
- Move 2nd row seats back using easy entry switch
- Remove second row floor panel 2NOTE: 4x clips, Recommend assistance, Tilt front edge upwards and remove in vertical position, Take precautions from damaging the rear of the console during removal
- Move both 2nd row seats forward using easy entry
- Remove second row floor panel 3NOTE: 2x clips
- Move both 2nd row seats rearward using easy entryNOTE: If easy entry is not working use comfort button on the side of the seat
- Move RH front seat back
- Move LH front seat backward
- Lower steering column fully and move away from IP
- Remove IP cubbyNOTE: 2x clips
- Remove LH IP side trimNOTE: 3x clips
- Remove LH SWD bezelNOTE: 3x locating tabs, Slides out to the side
- Remove binnacle cover panelNOTE: 2x clips
- Remove screws securing top pad at binnacle areaNOTE: 2x screws, T-20, 2 Nm
- Release top pad at leading edge, from drivers outer finisher to inner finisher
- Remove drivers lower IP trimNOTE: 9x clips
- Release steering column cover to the instrument cluster bezelNOTE: 2x clips
- Remove the instrument cluster bezel from the IP carrierNOTE: 4x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm
- Remove drivers inner finisher to bezelNOTE: 2x screws, T-20, 2 Nm
- Remove drivers outer finisherNOTE: 3x screws, T-20, 2 Nm
- Remove RH IP side trimNOTE: 3x clips
- Remove RH SWD bezelNOTE: 3x locating tabs, Slides out to side
- Remove glove box upper trim
- Remove glove box lower trim
- Open glovebox
- Remove the glove box assemblyNOTE: 6x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm, 3x connectors
- Set steering wheel column fully retracted and in the upward-most positionNOTE: This will aid in making room for front seat removal
- Remove plastic seat track covers on from the front and rear seat railsNOTE: 4x seat track covers. On older production vehicles, each seat track cover is secured with a fastener on the underside of the cover, 4x screws, PH2, 2 Nm
- Move LH seat forward to access to rear seat track bolts
- Remove LH front seat rear fasteners
- Move LH front seat backward
- Remove LH front seat front fastenersNOTE: 2x patch bolts, T45P, 34 Nm, Discard after removal, Use Torchless heat induction tool to help remove bolts if necessary
- Adjust the position of the LH seat for easy removalNOTE: Middle of track, most upright position, seat fully up off the floor
- Remove all Seat track covers off the RH seatNOTE: 4x seat track covers, On older production vehicles, each seat track cover is secured with a fastener on the underside of the cover, 4x screws, PH2, 2 Nm
- Remove RH front seat rear fastenersNOTE: 2x bolts, T45+, 34 Nm, Discard after removal, Use Torchless heat induction tool to help remove bolts
- Move RH front seat backward
- Remove RH front seat front fastenersNOTE: 2x bolts, T45, 34 Nm, Discard after removal, Use Torchless heat induction tool to help remove bolts
- Set RH Seat to a Center Position for easy removal from vehicle
- Use MCU screen to put the vehicle into jack mode.
- Place vehicle into "Tow Mode"NOTE: Via Controls > "Service"
- Move the rack legs under the vehicle but do not lift in this step.
- Remove underhood apronsNOTE: 4x aprons, LH and RH aprons have 1x clip each
- Remove frunk carpetNOTE: 2x connectors
- Remove underhood storage unitNOTE: 10x bolts, 10mm, 4 Nm, 10x bolts, 10mm, 7 Nm
- Remove HEPA filterNOTE: Lift up from bottom and pull out
- Disconnect 12V negative terminal and First Responder LoopNOTE: 1x nut, 10mm, 5 Nm, 1x connector, Wait at least 2 minutes before disconnecting modules or HV components
- Raise the vehicle to access HV battery
- Remove shear plates both sides (This helps inremoving aero shield)NOTE: 6x screws, T-25, 3 Nm 2x nuts, 15mm, 30 Nm 2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm 4x push clips
- Remove mid aero shieldNOTE: 20x bolts, 10mm, 4 Nm, 2x push clips
- Remove front bash plate extrusionNOTE: 2x bolts, T30, 16 Nm
- Remove LH ski side coversNOTE: 14x clips, 3x covers
- Remove RH ski side coversNOTE: 14x push clips, 3x covers
- Remove and discard remaining eight center bolts securing HV batteryNOTE: 8x bolts, E12, 38 Nm, Discard after removal
- Remove front four HV battery boltsNOTE: 4x patch bolts, 13mm, 30 Nm, Discard after removal
- Remove and discard 21mm bolts securing front of HV batteryNOTE: 2x bolts, 21mm, 115 Nm, Discard after removal
- Position battery table beneath vehicle
- Remove and discard RH rocker boltsNOTE: 8x patch bolts, 13mm, 55 Nm, Discard after removal
- Raise vehicle and remove battery tableNOTE: Recommend assistance
- Verify no high voltage at HV rapid mateNOTE: Make sure to wear PPE (HV gloves, safety glasses) when working on high voltage component, Measure B+ to Ground, B- to Ground, B+ to B-, If voltage is greater than 10V, Pack contactors are not open or welded, Stop work and reach out to Service Engineering
- Disconnect rear subframe harness from main body harnessNOTE: 3x connectors, 1x clip
- Disconnect the rear parking assist harness connector and rear BLE connectorNOTE: 2x connectors
- Disconnect tow hitch connectorNOTE: 1x connector
- Disconnect 12V logic connector from the chargerNOTE: 1x connector
- Release harness from bodyNOTE: 4x harness clips
- Push rubber grommet into the vehicleNOTE: Push the wiring harness into the vehicle from the bottom of the vehicle
- Remove bolts and Rear DU HV cable clips from HV battery LV logic connector bracketNOTE: 2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm 2x harness clips
- Release the HV battery LV logic connector cover from bracketNOTE: 6x clips 1x harness clip
- Remove the HV battery LV Logic connectors from bracketNOTE: 2x connectors, Make sure to remember the location of the connectors
- Push the logic harness through the body to the rear seat area
- Lower the vehicle
- Move the vehicle away from the hoist and place wheel chocksNOTE: Recommend assistance
- Pry out & Remove lower, Bottom LH Seat cover PanelsNOTE: 6x clips, Applicable to early production seats only
- Disconnect LH Seat connectors and SRS connectorNOTE: 2x connectors
- Remove LH front seat from vehicleNOTE: Recommend Assistance, Caution: Do not damage other components

- Open the rear cup holder

- Remove two screws securing front sliding panel to seat tracks from the LH seat.NOTE: 2x screws, T-25, 3 Nm
- Remove front sliding panel from seat tracks of the LH seat.
- Remove LH HVAC ducting between lower B pillar and upper C pillarNOTE: 2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm 1x nut, 10mm, 5 Nm, Remove all sections of ducting between the B-Pillar and C-Pillar, 2 foam ducts and 2 plastic duct couplers
- Remove the LH bracket from the harnessNOTE: 2x clips
- Remove the fasteners securing LH Outer beaver damNOTE: 2x nuts, 10mm, 5 Nm
- Release the harness clips from the LH Outer beaver dam remove from the vehicle
- Remove podium trim panels from RH 2nd row seatNOTE: 8x clips
- Peel back stag beetle carpet decal from front sliding panel of the RH seat.
- Remove two screws securing front sliding panel to seat tracks from the RH seat.NOTE: 2x, screws, T-25, 3 Nm
- Remove front sliding panel from seat tracks of the RH seat.
- Remove LH HVAC ductingNOTE: 2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm 1x nut, 10mm, 5 Nm, Remove all sections of ducting between the b pillar and c pillar, 2 foam ducts and 2 plastic duct couplers
- Remove the RH bracket from the harness
- Remove the fasteners securing the RH Outer beaver damNOTE: 2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm
- Release the harness clips from the RH Outer beaver dam and remove from the vehicleNOTE: 2x harness clips
- Disconnect TPMS module from harnessNOTE: 1x connector
- Disconnect the satellite radio harnessNOTE: 1x connector
- Disconnect the GPS radio harnessNOTE: 1x connector
- Release the clips that secure the harness to the closing plateNOTE: 5x harness clips
- Disconnect connectors from LH and RH falcon door moduleNOTE: 4x connectors
- Remove the bolts that secure the closing plate to the bodyNOTE: 8x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm
- Remove Spine plate above headliner
- Remove LH minion bracket from vehicleNOTE: 3x push clips
- Remove screws securing LH trunk bracketNOTE: 2x bolts, T25, 3 Nm, 4x push clips
- Remove LH shock tower braceNOTE: 9x bolts, T40, 27 Nm
- Release tab securing LH foam duct to plastic duct and move duct to the side
- Remove clips securing RH minion bracket and remove bracketNOTE: 3x push clips
- Remove the RH trunk bracketNOTE: 2x bolts, T30, 7 Nm, 4x push clips
- Remove RH wheel house bracketNOTE: 9x bolts, T40, 27 Nm
- Remove fasteners securing ECUNOTE: 4x nuts, 8mm, 3 Nm *Use new nuts
- Disconnect LH side ECU connectorsNOTE: 6x connectors
- Remove RH side ECU connectorsNOTE: 4x connectors
- Disconnect air bag connectors and clipsNOTE: 1x connector
- Remove the air bag mounting boltsNOTE: 2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, Discard after removal
- Release the top pad working from right to leftNOTE: *Tape top pad chrome to prevent damage, be cautious of creases when raising.
- Release MCU ground strap
- Remove top pad from vehicleNOTE: Recommend assistance
- Remove passenger finisher from IP carrierNOTE: 2x screws, T-20, 2 Nm
- Remove MCU from IP carrierNOTE: 4x bolts, T-25, 6 Nm 15x Electrical connections * Be careful, don't pull out too far prior to disconnect
- Remove the instrument clusterNOTE: 4x screws, T20, 2 Nm 2x connectors
- Remove mesh grille from IP carrierNOTE: 4x screws, T20, 2 Nm, 2x clips
- Remove steering wheel air bagNOTE: 2x screws, T-30, 3 Nm 3x connectors
- Remove steering wheelNOTE: 1x bolt, 10mm, 80 Nm, Mark spline for installation orientation
- Remove steering column moduleNOTE: 1x connector
- Remove the bolt that secures the lower shaft to the steering columnNOTE: 1x bolt, 13mm, 30 Nm, Mark the lower shaft position relative to the column
- Remove the steering column from the cross memberNOTE: 2x, bolts, 13mm, 30 Nm, 2x nuts, 13mm, 30 Nm, 2x connections
- Remove console outlet duct from front HVAC assembly
- Remove 2nd row foot ducts
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the dash tweeterNOTE: 1x connector
- Remove IP carrier speakersNOTE: 6x screws, T-20, 2 Nm 3x Electrical connections
- Remove the screws and clips that secure the IP carrier to the dash frameNOTE: 15x screws, T-20, 2 Nm
- Lift the IP carrier up, then release the clip that holds the dash tweeter electrical harness and remove IP carrier from vehicleNOTE: *HVAC ducting will come up with it May require 2nd technician
- Disconnect all electrical connectors from IP harness, including those that are connected to the PSRCM, cabin fuse boxes, and body control module (BCM)NOTE: Remove main harness connector under HVAC duct
- Remove the cross car beam from the vehicle.NOTE: 8x bolts, 13mm, 35 NmNOTE: The cross car beam is removed with the electrical harness attached *2nd technician recommended
- Remove connectors from the cabin fuse boxNOTE: 1x black connector 1x gray connector 2x, brown connector 1x green connector 1x orange connector
- Remove 12v positive terminal from cabin fuse boxNOTE: 1x nut, 10mm, 5 Nm
- Remove cabin fuse box from vehicleNOTE: *release upper and lower tabs to remove
- Release frunk harness from LH main body harness connector housingNOTE: 1x white connector 1x blue connector 1x black connector
- Remove connector from front body moduleNOTE: 1x white connector
- Remove ground from body under the front body moduleNOTE: 1x nut, 13mm, 8 Nm
- Release harness clip from bodyNOTE: 1x harness clip
- Disconnect the remaining frunk harness connector from RH main body harness connector housingNOTE: 2x white connectors 1x blue connector 1x gray connector 1x black connector
- Release harness clip from connector housing
- Disconnect brake sensor and acceleration pedalNOTE: 1x white connector 1x black connector
- Release harness clips from bodyNOTE: 5x harness clips
- Release connector from HVAC box then Disconnect HVAC connectorNOTE: 1x black connector
- Disconnect PTC heat connectorNOTE: 1x black connector

- Remove the 12V cable from the connector housingNOTE: 1x nut 10mm, 5 Nm
- Remove connector housing from the bodyNOTE: 2x clips 1x tab

- Remove ground from LH lower B-pillarNOTE: 1x bolt, 10mm, 8 Nm

- Disconnect LH B-pillar crash sensorNOTE: 1x black connector
- Disconnect LH 1st row retractor connectorNOTE: 2x yellow connectors, 1x clip
- Disconnect LH B-pillar switch and temp sensorNOTE: 2x black connector
- Disconnect LH falcon door harness from main harnessNOTE: 2x black connectors
- Disconnect both falcon door modules and roof USSNOTE: 3x black connectors, 1x clip
- Remove both grounds near falcon door modulesNOTE: 2x bolts, 10mm, 8 Nm
- Disconnect front camera and rear view mirror from main body harnessNOTE: 1x white connector, 1x blue connector, 1x black connector
- Disconnect RH falcon door harness from main body harnessNOTE: 1x white connector, 1x black connector
- Disconnect RH B-pillar switch and temp sensorNOTE: 2x black connectors

- Install LH front lower door sillNOTE: 7x clips
- Install LH front door seal
- Install LH lower B-pillar sill trimNOTE: 1x bolt, T25, 2 Nm, 2x clips
- Install LH welcome plateNOTE: 8x clips
- Install LH A-pillar
- Install the LH mounting fasteners from A-pillarNOTE: 2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm 1x nut, 13mm, 5 Nm 1x screw, T-20, 2 Nm
- Install LH sun visor bezel
- Install screws securing top pad at binnacle areaNOTE: 2x screws, T-20, 2 Nm
- Install binnacle cover panel
- Install LH SWD bezelNOTE: 3x retaining tabs, Slides into place
- Install LH IP side trimNOTE: 5x clips
- Install MCU cubby tray
- Move 2nd row seats forward using easy entry
- Install 3rd row carpetNOTE: Just slides in
- Place 3rd row seats inside of vehicleNOTE: Requires assistance
- Install rear 3rd row seat boltsNOTE: 4x bolts, T-45+, 34 Nm Torque in a later step
- Install front 3rd row seat boltsNOTE: 4x bolts, T-45+, 34 Nm Torque in a later step
- Torque 3rd row seat boltsNOTE: 8x bolts, T-45+, 34 Nm
- Connect the 3rd row seatNOTE: 1x black connector 1x gray connector
- Install 3rd row seat rear coverNOTE: 2x clips, slides in
- Install 3rd row lower cushionNOTE: 3x clips
- Make sure the 3rd seats are functioning correctlyNOTE: End with seats fold down
- Fold seats up
- Install 3rd row rear bolt bolt covers
- Install rear load floor
- Close liftgate
- Move 2nd row seats back
- Secure applique seal to LH B-pillar appliqueNOTE: Use P-80 emulsifier to assist with seal installation
- Connect LH B-Pillar cameraNOTE: 1x connector, Hold LH applique away from body to gain better access to the camera connector
- Install LH applique by inserting top tab first, then pushing up and securing lower clipNOTE: Be sure top of applique in position behind upper seal
- Pull back lower seal on LH B-Pillar applique and install screws securing lower LH B-Pillar applique to the bodyNOTE: 2x bolts, T25, 3 Nm
- Secure lower portion of LH B-Pillar applique sealNOTE: 3x retaining tabs, 1 tab on either side of the lower seal, 1 tab on the bottom to secure seal to applique
- Inspect LH B-pillar applique seal to make sure it is fully seatedNOTE: Adjust seal if necessary
- Secure LH top triangle portion of seal into position against body
- Secure applique seal to RH B-pillar appliqueNOTE: Use P-80 emulsifier to assist with seal installation
- Secure RH camera connector
- Install RH applique by inserting top tab first, then pushing up and securing lower clipNOTE: Be sure top of applique in position behind upper seal
- Pull back lower seal on RH side and install screws securing RH appliqueNOTE: 2x bolt, T-25, 3 Nm
- Secure lower portion of LH B-Pillar applique sealNOTE: 3x retaining tabs, 1 tab on either side of the lower seal, 1 tab on the bottom to secure seal to applique
- Inspect RH B-pillar applique seal to make sure it is fully seatedNOTE: Adjust seal if necessary
- Secure RH top triangle portion of seal into position against body
- Remove tape from LH racetrack trim
- Remove the protective tape from LH racetrack trim.
- Move steering wheel to home location
- Calibrate falcon doors via UINOTE: Via Controls > Calibrate, Required after 12V and FRL disconnect
- Close front door
- Drive the vehicle out of the stall
