Reservoir Assembly - Windshield Washer - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Remove the underhood storage unit Underhood Storage Unit (Remove And Replace) .
  2. Disconnect the windshield washer hose.
    NOTE: If a check valve is installed in the hose, remove and discard the check valve.

  3. Release the push clip that attaches the windshield washer reservoir filler neck to the front end carrier.

  4. Remove the LH front wheel arch liner Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove And Replace) .
  5. Disconnect the electrical harness from the washer pump connector and the fluid level sensor connector.

  6. Disconnect the electrical harness from the LH front accelerometer connector.

  7. Release the electrical harness clips from the windshield washer reservoir assembly.

  8. Remove the nuts (x3) that attach the windshield washer reservoir assembly to the body.

  9. Remove the windshield washer reservoir assembly from the vehicle by maneuvering it out through the wheel well.
  10. Recover the washer fluid from the windshield washer reservoir.
