Bracket - Radar - Front (DAS 2.5) - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Perform Wheel Alignment Check (with Air Suspension).
    NOTE: FRT per correction code- 31002100.
  2. Using MCU, set suspension to very high and press, open hood.
  3. Exit vehicle and open hood.
  4. Remove underhood aprons.
    NOTE: 4x aprons.

  5. Remove frunk carpet.
    NOTE: 2x connectors.

  6. Remove underhood storage unit.
    NOTE: 10x bolts, 10 mm, 4 N.m, 10x bolts, 10 mm, 7 N.m.

  7. Remove the front T badge.
    NOTE: 2x bolts, T25, 5 N.m, Done to prevent scratching of the front fascia chrome trim.

  8. Release fascia to lower front aero shield.
    NOTE: 11x push clips, 2x bolts, 10 mm, 3 N.m.

  9. Remove bolts securing fascia to upper grill.
    NOTE: 2x bolts, 10 mm.

  10. Turn wheel fully to the right, to gain access to LF arch liner clips.
  11. Remove forward side of the LF arch liner to gain access to garnish fasteners.
    NOTE: 4x push clips.

  12. Release the LH lower front of fender garnish.
    NOTE: 1x push clip, 2x bolts, 10 mm, 1.5 N.m.

  13. Starting from the rear, carefully pull the LH fender garnish away from the vehicle and disconnect ultrasonic sensor.
    NOTE: 5x heart flex clips, 1x connector, take care not to damage garnish ultra sonic sensor.

  14. Remove the screw that secures fascia to LF fender.
    NOTE: 1x screw, T25, 1.5 N.m.

  15. Pull LH fascia away from fender.

  16. Turn wheel fully to the left, to gain access to RF arch liner clips.
  17. Remove forward side of RF arch liner to access garnish bolts.
    NOTE: 4x push clips.

  18. Release the RH lower front of fender garnish.
    NOTE: 1x push clips, 2x bolt, 10 mm, 1.5 N.m.

  19. Starting from the rear, carefully pull the RH fender garnish away from the vehicle and disconnect ultrasonic sensor.
    NOTE: 5x heart flex clips, 1x connector, take care not to damage garnish ultra sonic sensor.

  20. Remove the screw that secures fascia to RF fender.
    NOTE: 1x screw, T25, 1.5 N.m.

  21. Pull RH fascia away from fender.
  22. Starting on the LH side of the vehicle, release the clips that secure the front fascia by pulling the fascia up and away from the vehicle.
    NOTE: 1x connector, recommend assistance to remove fascia.
  23. Release the harness clip from the lower edge of the radar bracket.
    NOTE: 1x clip.

  24. Disconnect the front radar.
    NOTE: 1x connector.

  25. Remove the radar bracket assembly.
    NOTE: 3x bolts, 10 mm, 6.5 N.m.

  26. Remove radar housing front cover.
    NOTE: 3x bolts, T10, 0.8 N.m.

  27. Remove radar from housing.
