Module - Park Assist - Remove And Replace: Removal

Disconnect 12V power DISCONNECT 12V POWER .
Remove the LH rear trunk side trim Trim - Rear Trunk - Side - LH (Remove And Replace) .
Gain access to the HVAC foam duct:
- Vehicles built through October 18, 2016: Remove the parcel shelf support Support - Parcel Shelf - LH (Remove And Replace) .
- Vehicles built after October 18, 2016, Remove the C-pillar mid zone bracket Bracket - C-Pillar - Mid Zone - LH (Remove And Replace) .
Remove the foam HVAC duct.
NOTE: The park assist module is located behind the charger.

Disconnect the electrical harness connectors from the park assist module.
CAUTION: Mark the harnesses so that they are reinstalled properly.
Release the barrel clip that secures the harness to the forward stud that supports the park assist module.
Remove and discard the nuts that secure the park assist module to the studs on the body (torque 3.5 N.m).

Remove the park assist module from the vehicle.
