Premium Boost Amplifier - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Remove the driver's side lower dash trim Trim - Dash - Driver's Side - Lower (Remove And Replace) .
  2. RHD vehicles:  Remove the accelerator pedal Accelerator (Remove And Replace) .
  3. Open the latch and disconnect the electrical connector from the amplifier.
    CAUTION: Take care not to damage component(s).

  4. Remove the LH footwell cover Assembly - Cover - Footwell - Driver's (Remove And Replace) .
  5. Remove the screws that secure the OBD connector to the amplifier/tuner bracket (torque 4 N.m).

  6. Release the OBD connector from the cross car beam and set aside.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the AM/FM tuner.

  8. Release the fir tree clips that secure the harnesses to the bracket.

  9. Remove the bolts that secure the amplifier/tuner and bracket assembly to the cross car beam (torque 6 N.m).
  10. Remove the screws that secure the amplifier to the bracket (torque 4 N.m).

  11. Release the amplifier from the bracket.
