Sensor - Parking Distance - Outer - Rear - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Open all four doors.
  2. Set the vehicle to Jack Mode. See JACK MODE ACTIVATION .
  3. Remove the clip that attaches the LH rear fender garnish to the mid aero shield.

  4. Release the clips (x7) and tabs (x7) that attach the LH rear fender garnish to the vehicle, and then remove the garnish from the vehicle.

  5. Remove the screw that attaches the LH side of the rear fascia to the quarter panel.

  6. Carefully release the tabs (x6) that attach the LH side of the rear fascia to the LH rear wing bracket.

  7. Disconnect the electrical harness from the parking distance sensor.

  8. Release the parking distance sensor from the clips that attach the sensor to the fascia.
    NOTE: Make sure the sensor seal is also removed.
